Skirts, Skirts, and more Skirts!

I've been having so much fun using my now-working sewing machine and have gone skirt-crazy! I sewed 2 skirts today by reusing knit fabric from old dresses and shirts, as well as some beautiful Batik fabric I got in West Africa.  Here's what I've been up to:

    very chic, and I LOVE the batik skirt -- looks so good! did you use the pattern and elastic i sent in the last care pkge????/

    Thanks, Mom! I used the elastic you sent me and an online pattern! I plan on using the patterns you sent me for a different fabric. :)
